BSc (Hons) Psychology

programme overview

Earn a British Psychology degree in Sri Lanka awarded by the University of Staffordshire. Your psychology degree gives you the flexibility to complete the full programme at APIIT Sri Lanka, or transfer seamlessly to the University of Staffordshire after your first year to graduate in the UK (subject to meeting entry requirements — you will need to pass all modules in your first year). Should you choose to transfer, your BSc Psychology carries the added distinction of a BPS accredited award.

In this bachelor of psychology programme, you’ll explore the questions that matter most. How do we support someone facing mental health struggles? Why does nature restore our wellbeing? What drives the psychology behind social movements?

Your BSc Psychology covers a broad sweep of disciplines — clinical, developmental, health, cognitive, and forensic psychology — so you can discover your niche and specialise. This depth of focus shapes the independent research project you’ll complete in your final year.

If you choose to transfer to the University of Staffordshire, our Visa Support Team will guide you through every step — from your visa application to your arrival in the UK.
