The Student Activity Club of Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT) Sri Lanka is thrilled to announce the 13th edition of Tantalize, the largest inter-university talent show in the country. Tantalize 2023 is set to captivate Sri Lanka and showcase the extraordinary talent of our nation's youth.
Tantalize has long been a pillar of the Sri Lankan undergraduate and entertainment scene, providing a stage for young talents to shine. This year, the event will feature outstanding performers from 09 state and non-state universities, competing in various categories such as singing, dancing, instrumental performance, and band ensembles.
Auditions for Tantalize 2023 were held on the 21st and 22nd of October, attracting a diverse pool of exceptionally gifted participants. The auditions were a testament to the incredible talent that exists within Sri Lanka's student community. Those who made it through the auditions received a unique opportunity to hone their skills through a workshop conducted by renowned artists in the entertainment industry on the 4th of November, 2023.
The grand finale of Tantalize 2023 is set to take place at Nelum Pokuna Indoor Theatre on 17th November, 2023, starting at 6:30 pm. This year's final show promises to be a night to remember, with a lineup of captivating performances that will leave the audience in awe.
Adding to the excitement of the evening, Tantalize 2023 will feature performances by celebrated artists, including Bathiya and Santhush, Lahiru Perera, Dinesh Gamage, Kaizer Kaiz, and the musical stylings of Sarith Surith and News. With such a star-studded lineup, attendees can expect an unforgettable night of musical and dance entertainment.
Tantalize 2023 is not just a competition but a celebration of talent, creativity, and the spirit of youth in Sri Lanka. It provides a unique platform for emerging artists to showcase their skills and aspirations, connect with fellow artists, and gain valuable exposure within the industry. And the proceedings from the event will be directed to provide better sanitary facilities to Harumalgoda Western Primary School in Galle.
