Ms. Maheesha Abeythunga is a dedicated Lecturer at APIIT, holding a BA (Hons) in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). Currently pursuing her MA in Linguistics and MA in Women and Gender Studies at the same institution, Maheesha is deeply committed to exploring the intricacies of language and its intersectionality with society. With a keen interest in innovative teaching methods, she employs passive learning techniques to foster a dynamic classroom environment where students actively engage with the material.
Her passion for research extends beyond the classroom, as she delves into topics surrounding language acquisition and gender dynamics.
