Zeenath Hidaya holds an MBA in Information Technology from Moratuwa University and a BSc(Hons) in Computing from Staffordshire University. She has extensive teaching experience in analysis & design, information systems, Information technology strategy, effective communication, and professional development. Over the years she has also accumulated industry expertise. Zeenath has successfully managed a Software Services organization and worked in application consultancy, specializing in ERP systems deployment at IFS Sri Lanka. Her research interests are in process mining, process mapping, education management and policy. Tertiary higher education policy being a key interest, while consulting for SLANSHEI (Sri Lanka Association of Non-State Higher Education Institutes) Zeenath contributed towards developing their policy paper on “Regulation of Non-State Higher Education Institutes & approval to use the terms ‘University and ‘University College’ “.
