Thishya Jayasundara obtained her LL. B (Hons) degree from University of London in the year 2018 with a special award for International Law. Further she completed her Masters of Laws degree specializing the areas of Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology Law from Cardiff Metropolitan University in the year 2021, obtaining a merit distinction.
She worked at a leading private school in Sri Lanka for two years, teaching the International Advanced Level- Law Pearson Qualification.
Further she has worked at several criminal and civil chambers as a legal intern.
She has completed her Attorney-at Law examinations obtaining classes for all three years at Sri Lanka Law College.
She has also worked as a Junior Counsel at a Public- Law chamber specializing areas such as Fundamental rights and writs.
